10:06 AM ET 10.19 | Missouri defensive end Aldon Smith, who has been out with a broken leg, spoke with reporters on Monday. And he didn't mince words regarding his status for Saturday's game against Oklahoma: "I'm playing," he said. [He was asked, with absolute certainty?] "I'm playing," he said. ... Even [Gary] Pinkel indicated Smith could be on the field Saturday. "I don't want to project," Pinkel said, "but I certainly think there's a possibility that he could play."

I will believe it when I see it. When has Mizzou ever won a big game. Don't tell me about the Kansas game the year Mizzou was robbed of the Orange Bowl bid. That wasn't OU or UTx.

OU is focused, healthy and ready. Missouri will be thoroughly beaten, although not blown out. Who has Missouri played? Could there be a reason OU is #1 in the BCS? Maybe wins (although close) againsy still competetion and a blowout of Florida State maybe?

As far as this DE...agreed, he is some specimen, but our OL is no slouch. We took all world freshman Jeffcoat from Texas out of the game with ease...think this cat will fare any better?

The computers do say Zero U played good schedule and we know they won. May not have been pretty but they did win. FSU, Cincy, Air Force and Utah State may end up being better than people thought.

"I'm gonna go out on the twig here and say Mizzou by 20, and Bama fall again in Knoxville." that would be a bet I'd love to lose.

FJJ is a joke on here.. He's just bent because OU whooped on his Cows. OU is gonna blow this wide open and show the country why they are number 1. ISU was a tune up. They almost GAVE the game away to TU in the fourth but managed to lead the whole way. Scariest test so far, AFA because they run that football like nobody else (and it was in Norman).. Landry, Broyles and Demarco are ON right now and this game will not be close at the half. You heard it HERE!!

When you have been here a while and have some cred you can make a statement like this (but by then you won't)...until then, hush and learn first

No mention of when Pinkel's leg injury occurred or how long he's been out. Gives him the appearance of either being Superman or a Dad-Gum fool.

He could play for Satan @ Bama.
