Gruden linked to Browns job?

What the heck does the Browns have to lose? Chuckie is an upgrade over the Dough Boy.

Why does Gruden always look like he's taking a dump?

Gruden and Bill Cowher will both have a lot of options for next season.

If there is a next season. Roger Goodell - I'm talkin' to you, man. Get your dung together and get that new CBA negotiated.

I say this a bit tongue in cheek but maybe after 15 years of going nowhere, Jerry might try to work with a guy like that. He did seem to work well with Parcells for the most part.

Chuckie is not known to be fond of young QBs, but McCoy's stat line against a really tough Steelers' defense was impressive. He wouldn't have to stock-pile QBs (even though he probably will anyways).

heck- either one of them makes the Browns better

Before the draft Gruden talked to McCoy and Tebow a lot and he said he was impressed with McCoy on and off the field so maybe he will be able to work with him.

true...there's always a qb controvesy with chuckie.

he seems like he's way more interested in coaching than tv...cleveland needs a big change to put the mangini years behind them asap...

Heck, with Mangina gone, a QB controversy/drama would keep the Browns interesting.

the only controversy I see is why was Delhomme signed in the first place? unless they were trying to pad the rest of the AFC north's int stats
