06:39 AM ET 10.20 | Coach Jeff Fisher on Tuesday did not deny the Titans had interest in re-acquiring Albert Haynesworth. But Fisher said the Redskins clearly weren???t interested in dealing the defensive tackle they gave a $100 million contract in 2009. So the NFL trading deadline came and went on Tuesday. Fisher said his team's defensive line play did not make getting Haynesworth a priority.

Not interested? Or not interested for what you offered?

The Skins should expect to get some value for this guy. Try throwing in an extra used jockstrap along with the kicking tee and 3 1/2 pairs of socks, and they might go for it.

Throw in some lip balm and the deal would have been sealed.

Don't forget to throw in hands for Carlos Rogers...

Well, what did Danny-Boy expect for a lousy $100 million? You get what you pay for.

October 20, 2010  09:06 AM ET

He should ask for a refund. Show Roger Godell your receipt and you should get your money back. Or do you show the players union?

C'mon, it's a Skins thread. Where's Chico?

Stomp dose Bears.

Exactly. Oh, and don't mention "stomp" in a Haynesworth thread. It makes me queasy.

The only way getting Haynesworth is a priority is if you have a very large pile that you need $100 million paper weight for.

We offered everything but the jockstrap. There just has to be a line drawn somewhere. I like our pass rush-not sure we needed that cancer to mess it all up.

No we didn't.... Next story.

Then can we PLEASE play him.....our run defense is pathetic and an out of shape Haynesworth has to be better then what we are currently playing.

No..............he doesn't, and probably isn't, and won't give any effort in any case.

What amazes me is how good the Skins' defense is even without him. The secondary played very well against Manning - tight coverage and a lot of balls knocked down. If Albert had tried to adapt to the 3-4 and was able to help the D-line generate more pressure on opposing QBs, I wouldn't be surprised if the Skins were leading the league in picks at this point. What a wasted opportunity.

Yah cuz the titans only wanted to give a 4th round pick what he is worth, that and a back of Dorritos, extra cheesey!

Maybe it was best the Titans did not keep him, hard to speculate.

I know that I was skeptical when they let him go but it exactly why I am a FN wanna be and they are the talent evaluators. The Titans currently lead the league in sacks and Albert leads in sack lunches.

We backed out when they wanted us to throw in a bottle of ranch dressing to seal the deal. Every restaraunt in the Nashville area is protesting that the deal fell through.

The skins want tom trade haynesworth to the Cowboys may be he can help them win a game.

But every restaurant in the Washington, DC, area is celebrating. Look for "Fat Albert Specials" tonight.

You couldn't give me Haynesworth. He's a team killer.
