07:32 AM ET 10.20 | Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was arrested for public intoxication this morning. According to The Star's news-gathering partner, WTHR (Channel 13), Indianapolis Metropolitan Police were called the Water Company Canal at Broad Ripple and College shortly before 5 a.m. after a report of a man swimming in the canal. A 911 call was received about 4:45 a.m. this morning, according to WTHR, from a woman who said a wet, shirtless man tried to get into her car at a traffic signal at Broad Ripple Avenue. Police later found McAfee in the area, shirtless and soaking wet, WTHR reports, and arrested the Colts player for public intoxication. Police say he fully cooperated with them, the station reported.

Punters rock!

Kickers/punters + booze + Colts= big fun!

Great story!

The trouble is, it's another distraction for Roger Goodell. Now, he'll spend a week in Venice investigating canals, instead of knuckling down on the CBA problem.

We already know what Peyton thinks about kickers, but how does he feel about punters?

So he was actually arrested eh? Wonder if Heir Goodell will Goosestep this guy and suspend him too. More likely, Goodell will just be a pussey and not do a damn thing. F'in hypocrite!!

On the bright side, if there is one area of the team that least affect a franchise from an off-the-field behavior issue, it would be the kicker/punter.

The Patriots were in a deep hole on Sunday. OT, and they had to punt from inside their own 20. Baltimore was winning the field-position battle. But, punter Zoltan Mesko put one all the way back inside the Baltimore 20, the Pats D held, Brady & Company picked up a couple of first downs and Gradkowski kicked the field goal.

Without the "foot soldiers" the Ravens would have won that game.
