New Leicester City boss Sven Goran-Eriksson is plotting the sensational capture of Beckham, according to The Sunday People. The report claims the ex-England boss wants to snap up the experienced campaigner on loan during the MLS off-season, which Beckham has done in the past two seasons with AC Milan. The LA Galaxy star has returned to action after a long absence with an Achilles tendon injury, which ruled him out of last summer's World Cup in South Africa.

For my United fans.

Chicharito's first goal was exquisite.

Why do soccer pundits use adjectives such as "sensational" "shocking" and "stunning?" Without adding any C4, anyone want to tell me why? I like those adjectives when I read a soccer story, its just that I always wondered why they use them...

To contribute to this thread; does Becks have a desire to return to the EPL?

Stuff like this is killing the game. I honestly hate Sergio Busquets for what he did last year. Dani Alves was booked for diving in the 1st leg and should have been booked in the second leg.

I like to believe these actions have consequences. Those referees have already looked at the tape and they will think twice the next time, Barcelona is beginning to garner a reputation for being cheats. Well deserved in my opinion. And Pootie you are right, for Barca's hyped up style of play, Real Madrid is scoring one more goal A GAME then Barca (and allowed less goals too).

Arsenal beat 10 men Man City 3-0 in Eastlands to move into joint 2nd place! What's worse is that Joe Hart had a spectacular penalty save on Fabregas. Didn't see the red card that was given in the 5th minute though.

Pootie, you have to message me how you learned how to curse. Seriously.

Indeed, but BMB's final goal was DIVINE. Unfortunately I can't find it on youtube yet, but in my book this goes up there with Elway's final performance. The old adage is "this is the stuff that legends are made of". I'd argue that "this is the stuff that confirms a legend".

Skip to the 1 minute mark to see McBride's goal:

I concur. It was very pathetic indeed. He should have been carded for it.

Because they are British.

McBride scored twice in the game at Chicago and both were called offsides. One was definitely a questionable offsides. It was against last place D.C. United neither team were playing for a playoff spot. The stupid **** should have at least given him one just for the fans sake.

The statement that Beckham sucks is getting about as old as the haters saying soccer isn't a sport. You don't have to idolize the guy and he's not the best to ever play the game but to say he sucks is ridiculous. If even 1/4 of MLS players or even a 1/4 of players in the EPL could drop a pass on a dime like he can then I'd probably change my tune a little.

Enjoy guys!

I think that represents SXM's status as a United fan more than an actual assessment of Goldenballs.
