Vick likely to start next Eagles game

06:31 AM ET 10.25 | Asked who his starting quarterback was heading into the bye, Eagles coach Andy Reid answered simply with, "Michael." That's Michael Vick, in case you need reminding. Reid had said coming into the game that Vick was his starter, so sticking with Vick over Kevin Kolb wasn't necessarily a surprise. But the coach did leave himself a little wiggle room to make a change last week, perhaps in case Kolb performed brilliantly against the Titans Sunday. He did not.

Glad they clarified Reid was referring to Michael Vick. At first I thought he meant Michael Bolton.

Kolb is a better-than-average backup. But he's a worse-than-average starter. Sorry, Kevin. It's just the way I see it.

It's like that and that's the way it is-HHHHUUUHH!!!

QB is not Philly's problem. Either Kolb or Vick could score enough points to win if the Eagles played any kind of defense.

I thought it was Mike Ditka, from the Coor Light ad where Brian Billick says, "Michael."

So if Vick comes back and has a bad game, is Kolb the starter? Your guess is as good as Andy's!

No ****!!!

Or maybe Michael Douglas...

Nah... He sucked.

Yep. Give Vick that same 19-7 lead in the third quarter and that game comes out different. The two interceptions Kolb threw in the second half were horrible.

"But but but, he's still learning! You have to give the guy a real chance to see what he can do! He has the potential to be good if he's kept in there!"

Any others I missed???

How can you call the interceptions "horrible" when you obviously didn't even watch the game.

1. Kolb only threw a single interception in the second half. On a Hail Mary attempt on the last play of the game.

2. Ellis Hobbs cost the Eagles the game. He couldn't cover Kenny Britt if his life depended on it. Britt scored two touchdowns against the Eagles (against Hobbs) in the 4th Quarter, digging the Titans out of a deficit and giving them the game-winning lead.

Kenny Britt owned Ellis Hobbs to the tune of

7 Receptions
3 Touchdowns
225 Yards

That's including an 80-yard TD.

But I guess if the Eagles put Michael Vick on the field at cornerback he may have changed the outcome of the game.

Makes no difference.
