Hurting at RB, Saints may see Bush return

08:47 AM ET 10.26 | At running back, the Saints are a team with questions, none more significant than when Reggie Bush may return. After Sunday's loss, [Pierre] Thomas said he is still hurting and the ankle he injured against Atlanta in week three is keeping him hobbled. He scoffed at a report on FOX Sports Sunday that some in the organization think Thomas is malingering, saying that view has not been expressed to him at any time. Bush said he has been cleared to play and that x-rays of his fractured fibula show it has healed nicely. He is somewhere close to 100 percent, but has still not tested the leg in live situations. Mentally, Bush said he is pointing to return Sunday night.

Questions? I would say no running game is not a question, but a statement of fact

Bush is back? Tell Kim Kardashian to stop shaving, then.

The guys making these headlines titles have jokes!!

hahahahahaha!!!

October 26, 2010  09:09 AM ET

Fox News, now thats the place to go for news, NOT SPORTS, they twist comments around that players say, and then the guy looks bad, SI or ESPN, you best bets.

I can see it now: thousands of fans chanting, "We want Bush!" Cheerleaders file sexual harassment suit.

Then Kim Kardashian comes running out of the tunnel. LOL!

Saints are pushing him to come back too early. he'll get hurt again.

They should stick with Ivory- he's on my fantasy team. These teams are so selfish.

October 26, 2010  10:19 AM ET

So we are going to have a KC vs Tampa superbowl?

Not predicting just saying - crazy crazy year - that is what makes football so much better then basketball - the clip's are not going to win the west next year or even be top 6.

Well that and football is actually a sport where the NBA is a entertainment. Dallas is starting to feel like it wants to be like the NBA though with the team ramp going through a bar - oh JJ what happend to my team, might be time to give up after 20 years!

Oh well, reggie you are getting what is coming to you for not returning your boys calls. Did you think after you signed with another agent he would let your parents house and your new truck just go away? Tard! He said all you had to do was pay him back (a fact your dad knew 20 times) - hummm 200k vs 5 million in endorsements lost minimum and not starting the firestorm at USC and loosing your doorstop!

Do these guys even have a brain or an advisor - or do they really think they are not like the rest of us and can do anything - makes one wonder - well the "new" economy is going to bring some back down to earth - a little bit anyway!

The Saint's running game wasn't all that before Bush got hurt...so how much can he 'add' now that he's back? Steelers will key on him and lock him down. Go Steelers!

October 26, 2010  12:43 PM ET

I just don't think it's gonna make that much of a difference to the Saints or to MY chances of landing Kim Kardashian so, you know, whatever...

October 26, 2010  01:12 PM ET

If he's the answer they need to rephrase the question.

His value isn't in the running game.

Receiving and kick/punt returns.

"He is somewhere close to 100 percent, but has still not tested the leg in live situations."

The Steelers run defense might not be the best place to start. And their special teams have improved too. Reggie better be 100% period, not "somewhere close" to 100% if he wants to stay healthy.

Should rename the Holland Tunnel after her. She gets as much traffic through that thing.
