The second-hottest seat in the country?

08:19 AM ET 10.28 | While Dan Hawkins likely occupies the nation's hottest seat, Mike Locksley in New Mexico may be second. In 2007, the Lobos were 9-4. That's not that long ago, but then-coach Rocky Long went 4-8 in 2008 and was replaced with Locksley, who has brought a staggering level of instability to this program both on and off the field. The Lobos were 1-11 in 2009 and are 0-7 so far this season, ranking 117th in the nation on offense and 120th on defense. Pick an NCAA stat, and there's a very good chance UNM is ranked 100th or lower.

Can we count this as a BB thread? It is funny that this T&R is an ESPN article.

Addazio would have to accept the position. I don't think he would take the job at New Mexico.

Locksley should've stayed with Zook at UIUC. He definitely wasn't ready for a HC gig. Hopefully he finds work as an OC again.

HarleyMarlboro hopes that Locksley will get a few more years there at UNM.

I couldn't find any good UNM chick pics, so here's a NMSU cheerleader pic instead.

New Mexico is 0-7, New Mexico State is 1-6 with their only win coming against New Mexico. I don't think you could combine both teams and still get another win Where are they recruiting?
