08:09 AM ET 10.29 | Six goals and a sloppy game later, the coach had enough. A fuming Brent Sutter ripped into his top players Thursday night without actually naming names, for failing to adhere to the game plan. "The only way you can consistently be a good hockey team is if you understand that it doesn't matter who you are, this is what you have to do," Sutter said, slapping the top of the podium with his palm for effect at the post-game news conference. ... "Our top players have to buy into what we're doing."

Ummmm, Ya that was a bad one Sutter. Stewart on the other hand was great. Budaj was tepid just like the other goalie, but he thanked god when the game was done.

I've got tickets for the Nov 27th game when Calgary comes to the Consol. Here's hoping they're playing that poorly when I'm there. :)

Karlsson was bad last night, and it would've looked different if Kipper was in IMO. OJ showed up last night! Wow!

BTW, there was nothing shaky about it............they just played bad in their own end, and had a sieve for a 6 foot 5 goalie, so nothing surprising there! Man I'm up early! Going outside for fresh air.......and then more shuteye!

That's better! Sorry bout that last bit about Karlsson, as I'm sure he'll get better soon.

Caption - But he's this much taller than Kipper so no pucks go over the net.

"Our top players have to buy into what we're doing."

What exactly is that? Assembling a so-so team, and while the injuries can't be helped, the decision making putting the team out there seem suspect.

What is that, you ask BBBJ? I think it's obvious. The Sutterites are looking for buyouts so they can purchase a new manure spreader for the farm.

By best players does he mean Jokinen, because only his brother thinks that guy is good.

October 29, 2010  10:27 AM ET

October 29, 2010  10:56 AM ET

I dislike the smell of cow, an horse dung immensely! Mackinaw Island isn't as nice due to that smell.

It might be the urine that gives off that glorious stench. I know what you mean, but I wouldn't change Mackinaw Island for anything.

Karlsson won't be the last goalie to get scorched by Stewie.
