Raptors GM on hot seat

Better come up with a plan, Bro.

I have said before on this site the the Craptors have the worst talent in basketball. But last night it was still enough to house the Cav's by 20 points.

The big one was Bosh, and when last years trade deadline passed with him still a Craptor you knew this guy was in trouble. The Bulls offered Toronto Noah and Deng at the deadline for Bosh and they turned it down. Noah right now would look pretty good right now.

But i can say this about four team last year, every knew Amare, Boozer, Bosh and james where leaving there teams and yet these GM's where okay with getting nothing for them. Denver hopefully won't make the same mistake.

I think BC has done a good job on moving TUrk and got Barbosa back. Barbosa is the exact type of player the Raptors were missing in the last few years. I also give him credit on signing Kleizer and getting Andersen. I look forward for the Raptors to get into the playoff this season with these rosters. If we dont suceed, its the coach's fault

Noah is okay, but the Raptors do not need Deng and his long expensive contract, that could have killed Raptors for many years

Wow a Raptor fan !!! The Barbosa trade was good for Toronto I was surprised the Sun's did that deal. buy I disagree this years team is better than last years. Last year they where 40-42 I believe, and in my opinion Toronto is a 20 win team this year. Maybe they will prove me wrong... but I doubt it.

We all saw Bosh pairing up with another top talent. If that had come to pass, a sign & trade for TOR would've yielded some nice pieces to better a rebuilding effort. NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY, saw all 3 top FAs signing together. When that happened, TOR couldn't get a happy meal in a sign & trade.

I'm not defending Colangelo but 30 out of 30 GMs did not see all three signing together (okay 29 out of 30).

Noah is quit a bit more than just okay Canadian. And while Deng is overpaid @ an average of 11 million a season I still think thats a better investment than paying Jose Calderon 10 million or the Amir johnson 5 year 35 million dollar contract they just gave out.

I agree most didn't see all three signing in Miami everyone knew Bosh was gone. And the longer you wait the less you get in most cases.

Denver will deal Melo. If NYK hadn't made the trade to HOU where they shipped a 1st round pick, the right for HOU to swap future 1st round picks, Jared Jefferries, and Jordan HIll for T-Mac and a box of cracker jacks then Melo would be a Knick right now. Instead, Denver will wait until 12/15 when the player pool will increase and try and include a 3rd team in the deal.

They'll never get fair value but they deserve a package that includes a 1st round pick and the Knicks can't offer that.

agreed, take whatever you can get in my opinion. I think part of the problem in Denver is the owner has his 30 year old pampered son making decisions.

Yea.I am aware of the loss of draft picks the knicks no longer possess.However getting young talent in return is damn sure better than Melo bolting come June and the nuggets GM left with a surprised look on his face...

and thats whet it comes down to, get something or become the Cav's and Raptors.
