08:14 AM ET 10.31 | Nearly three years after nearly parlaying a stint on Dancing with the Stars into a movie deal but opting instead to keep playing football, Jets defensive end Jason Taylor currently plans to end his NFL career after the 2010 season, per a league source. The evidence comes from the fact that Taylor, 36, has hired CAA for his off-field interests, as confirmed by Taylor's presence in the ever-growing army of CAA clients who are available for speaking engagements. We've confirmed that, indeed, Taylor has hired CAA to represent him for matters other than football.

That, my friend, is an insult to the Yankees. Tens of millions more fans hate the Yankees than the Jets. I demand you recant your incorrect statement!

Haha I hate the Yankees to... but I cannot in good conscience recant, where I hate the Yankees they don't "annoy" me near as much as every single thing having to do with the Jets does... trash-talking thug players, a blow hard obese coach, stupid stupid annoying fans (especially fireman **** or whatever his name is) and that retraded J-E-T-S chant.. god shut up already. At least the Yankees got championships, the Jets are the most continuesly deluded team and fan base in history. Plus Mike Greenburg is a fan, that says a tons about their fans right there.

Can someone translate his t-shirt? I don't speak Italian...

October 31, 2010  10:29 AM ET

The man has played a lot of football. Better to walk away, while you can still walk.

ESPN's Jason Smith is a fan too. And I'm secretly convinced John Clayton is on the bandwagon also.

I find it a little bit funny though that the Jets only really became annoying to so many people after they made the playoffs last year. I've never seen a franchise get so much flak for benefitting from another team's unwillingness to pursue perfection. Indianapolis should get the blame for the Jets' AFC Title Game run last season, not the Jets themselves. The Jets merely committed the crime of taking advantage of an opportunity. Which, I might add, was provided also by Miami losing three straight games at the end of the year. If the Dolphins win just one of their last three games, the Jets wouldn't make the playoffs regardless of the Indy outcome. A lot of people don't remember this fact or choose to ignore it.

This may be true for alot of football fans... but i can honestly say that I have always, ALWAYS hated this team. And no I cannot blame the Colts for all the annoying **** things the Jet faithful do, they have made the draft practically unwatchable for me for many many years.
