08:04 AM ET 11.01 | It couldn't have made Mike Tomlin very happy to admit. [The Steelers] like to think of themselves as a powerful, physical football team. They weren't Sunday night and it cost them the game in the Louisiana Superdome. ... They were beaten early in the second quarter when they were whipped in the worst possible way. Physically. "They won the line of scrimmage," coach Mike Tomlin said.

It was Halloween and the voodoo was just too strong down in the bayou.

They're 5-2. The Saints are sputtering a bit, but still a talented team.

No need to panic.

We have to dust off the no-huddle short pass Pittsburgh to death gameplan.

Rare for a Steeler team to get outhit. Not sure I would like to be their next opponent.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If there is one thing Pittsburghers like more than a winning team, it's a team that gives them something to complain about.

Glad to see Big Ben back throwing picks. Girls - heads up in the clubs, he's in a bad mood...

You have no idea. Let me put it like this. The Steelers won Super Bowl XLIII and people were complaining that they didn't run the ball enough. I blame it on all the mine water people drink here.

I don't blame them...

... so many memories in that stadium.

Thankfully the Steelers have a rock solid, ultra reliable, and totally stabile QB to lead them through tough times.

"Are the Steelers going soft?"

What a ridiculous question. Absolutely not. So the Steelers lose to the defending Super Bowl champions in Priim time on their field....after the Saints were embarassed last week to boot. They were within 3 points late in the 4th quarter and driving when Health Miller fumbled the ball. Someone please explain how that makes the soft.
