Time to fire Childress?

08:01 AM ET 11.01 | A chatty Randy Moss stole Sunday's postgame show, but Vikings fans will be wondering all week whether Brad Childress coaches the team through the end of 2011. Nothing would apply a better kick in the pants to this slouching group than a change at the top. Whether Childress deserves to get canned is irrelevant. As Clint Eastwood said: "Deserves" got nothing to do with it. Consider it a tactical move designed to get the team's attention. There's no need for anything dramatic. Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier could take over. The players hear a different voice. And maybe something good comes out of it. What do they have to lose?

Haven't lost faith... just a bet.

Wade should go first.

November 1, 2010  08:27 AM ET

Yeah. The Pats had the Vikes offense figured out by the second quarter, and Chilly didn't change a thing. Let's see if they can beat a second-tier team in Arizona next week.

Man, did Brett look old riding out on that golf cart. He was almost in a fetal position with all the hurt he's got.

In order to "lose it", you need believe he actually "had it".

Whoever approved begging Brett to come back should be the one fired.
