07:53 AM ET 11.03 | Some have placed St. Louis as the odds-on favorite to land Randy Moss, but it would take a dozen teams passing on the idea before it happens. There's no doubt the Rams are interested, but according to team sources, the coaching staff and front office needed to do some research and engage in some discussion before making a decision. That research almost certainly will include a phone call or two from Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo to Minnesota coach Brad Childress. Childress is one of Spagnuolo's best friends in the business, and it is Childress -- and the Vikings -- who released Moss on Tuesday.

Sounds like the Rams run totally opposite than the Vikings.

no, no, no, no, no, NO!

Hope they serve better food after practice than the Vikes do... Randy seems to be an expert in this subject.

What a present for the Rams.

I'd like to see Randy, TO, Ocho and Haynseworthless all together in the unemployment line. At some point you'd think someone would say enough is enough with these clowns.

Yes! Take his salary, please.

If by "present" you mean a flaming bag of dog poop, then yes, I agree.

November 3, 2010  08:23 AM ET

I hope the take him. he would hate it.

November 3, 2010  08:24 AM ET

Why not. The Rams will end the season with a better record than the Vikings anyways.

November 3, 2010  08:24 AM ET

on the field....this is exactly what Steven Jackson needs...

November 3, 2010  08:28 AM ET

If you claims this guy off of the waiver line, you get what you deserve.

Yes sir it is. Jackson woulg reach the 1,800 mark this season if Moss takes the heat off him.

November 3, 2010  08:40 AM ET

I would love to listen in to the conversation between Spagnuolo and Childress. That would be priceless.

And more importantly, he wouldn't get hurt several times a season due to defenses focused solely on him.

BTW, Childress has 'friendS'???

That said are we really going to find out exactly what happened in Minnesota?

Things are coming out in dribs and drabs, but basically Randy showing no respect for his team, his coaches and various others including even caterers; essentially "Randy being Randy"...

This does not work unless Spagnuolo is able to keep Moss in check like Belichick did, if he can this could be the piece that puts them in the playoffs in that sad division.
