couldn't find a better GT pic?

Just another example of Bruce Weber not being able to recruit in state.

Another guy that Bruce Weber let get away.

CRAP.

If Weber can't recruit in-state, how do you account for the five commitments he has gotten - all from high level players in Illinois - including four in the past week (1 for 2008, 3 for 2009, and 1 for 2010)?

No one gives a rats **** about B-Ball

Good choice. There are too many bad influences in Champaign, Illinois, apparently. Was it three kids on their team last year that got DUIs and slammed into trees?

October 19, 2007  06:35 PM ET

Interesting.

A bit off topic, but:

As a Hoosiers fan, I'm glad the Illini found three players that, combined, can equal Eric Gordan.

Hewitt can recruit, GT is going to be a contender in the ACC for years to come.

October 22, 2007  10:27 AM ET

Hewitt can recruit...he just has a problem coaching them when he gets them here....dam it.

Old news. He indicated his preferences a long time ago. Remember where Head, Williams and Brown were rated before they committed to Illinois and where they are now (and that they each played four years for the Illini and not one year and a jump to the bucks in the NBA). Then have a look at Weber's recent commits, how Weber coaches kids to their full potential and, IU fans, enjoy Mr. Eric Don't Believe My Promises Gordon for the one year he'll be a Hoosier and keep pretending you don't know that more bad news is coming your way courtesy of Mr. Sampson's prohibited calls and other dirty tricks. Oskee-wow-wow!

Who Cares??

Wrong pal, it more like Hewitt can't keep them from the NBA. I think he had to Sophmores to be this year drafted. Can't blame him for that.

Youre right SoflaBoy, the NBA machine right now is in GT!!! Go to GT if you just wanna wait that super illegal, racist, dumb, rule the NBA has in place where you have to be 19yo to play!!!!
