Pats season to go from bad to worse?

07:53 AM ET 11.09 | Coming off a thorough thrashing at the hands of the Browns, New England's defense has been exposed. It's 29th in total defense, 21st in rushing yards per game. It's giving up 117.6 yards and hasn't yet hit the iron of the schedule. ... In the second half Sunday the Pats allowed a 35-yard touchdown run by [Peyton] Hillis and a 16-yard TD run by McCoy. You want to guess how many runs -- not touchdown runs, just runs of 15 yards or more -- the Pats' next opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers, had allowed entering last night's game at Cincinnati? None. Zero. The Steelers had given up two rushing touchdowns this year. If the Pats try to run Green-Ellis, the Steelers might knock the hyphen right out of him.

As long as it doesn't go from bad to worse to pathetic they will be fine.

Every team has one game per season where everything falls apart. This was the Patriots' turn. I look for them to bounce back just fine.

I would expect them to have some intense practices this week. They will be ready for the Steelers.

In the past, when the Pats have had a total stinker game, they come back strong. But, they do have a tough schedule.
This is the same team that beat the Ravens. Basically, no change in personnel. Look for a good game, regardless of who wins.

Unfortunately, the Pats will be just fine.

But with their schedule they have some tough situations to deal with. There are some good qb's that are going to have their way with the secondary. Peyton certainly will.

I'm not counting them out. I know better than that. But they don't play Buffalo every week either. But they do have Chicago. LOL!

You have to respect the Pats, but they have not turned all those draft picks the last few years into difference makers. And it shows.

I respect Rodney Dangerfield more than the Pats. Despise would be more appropriate.

Pats' season to go from bad to worse? Bad? Going into Sunday, they had the best record in the NFL. How is that bad?
