Gesser: Locker could have played

09:35 AM ET 11.11 | Former Washington State quarterback Jason Gesser is wondering why Jake Locker didn't play with a broken rib this past Saturday against Oregon. "To be honest with you, I was surprised he didn't play in this last game," Gesser said on Dave Grosby's 710 ESPN show Tuesday afternoon. "I've had cracked ribs. I've had dislocated ribs. Basically all you have to do is shoot them up." Gesser said he played with a similar injury for most of his junior and senior seasons at Washington State. ... Gesser said he fully expects Locker to play in the Huskies' final home game Nov. 18 against UCLA.

Who was Gesser? Locker really missed his chance to impress the NFL. He will probably go to the combine and be off the charts, but the bottom line is that he didnt win between the lines.

Maybe he should. He has not impressed anybody playing football this year. Looks like a third rounder right now. And no guarantees on those NFL contracts.

You might be a sucky Quarterback if you go on radio shows and the hosts ask you about other quarterbacks instead of yourself. You might be a sucky quarterback if you answer and pontificate about the quarterbacks of other teams. Why does Gesser have an opinion about Jake Locker playing against UCLA? Not only does nobody in fannation or all of college football have an interest in the UW vs. UCLA game, but being a college QB, wouldn't you be kind of trying to focus on your own team!??!

they didt want oregon to lose so that it would make it harder for a non AQ team to play in championship game. pac10 needs to be looked at for ethical behavior....that the same as a flop or taking a dive. i hope ya get caught
