08:10 AM ET 11.12 | In keeping Joakim Noah, the Bulls seem to made the right choice to date. He's averaging 15.7 points and 15 rebounds and had double-doubles in the first six games, making him the first Bull to have six consecutive double-doubles to start a season since Artis Gilmore had 11 in a row in 1978. The double-double streak ended Thursday. Noah had 17 points and seven rebounds. "I think he has shown steady progress throughout his career," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "I saw the improvement he made this summer; he's highly driven. I felt confident he would be better."

QUOTE(#4):

I like Chicago's team. They're solid. With a few tweaks they'll be serious title contenders.

Once Boozer gets back Miami's ownership will change from Boston to Chicago. I mean Bulls will own the Heat. As for Orlando they will forever be like Dallas... good on paper but plays soft when it matters most.

Noah is a guy you hate him when your playing him, but you would kill to have him on your team. I thought he'd be a bust out of Florida-but he has worked hard to make himself a respectable NBA player

November 12, 2010  09:05 AM ET

Hey Noah, get a haircut, bro. You look like a chick.

November 12, 2010  09:07 AM ET

Just keep working hard, Bro.

Joke-him is still a punk.

Too bad some old-time enforcers aren't in the league anymore.

I said it all off season, Noah will be an all-star this season and lead the league in rebounding. He get labeled as a hustle guy but he's so much more, probably the best passing center in basketball and one of the smartest players in the league. In terms of basketball IQ

you could say the same about a great many players. I would love to see Kobe play vs teams like the bad boy pistons and the 90's New York hacks. Teams that took cheep shots every chance they got. many of todays NBA players would have a hard time in the 80's and 90's NBA. Wasn't it Karl Malone thats said D. Howard would have been a bench player in the 90's... maybe it was Charles Oakley

just think how bad wolves, bobcats, grizzles and Thunder feel about passing on Noah for the like of Brandan Wright Corey Brewer Mike Conley, Jr. and Jeff Green. All teams that need a center... not to mention portland and greg Oden

Conley is having a breakout season and is really balling. but i agree with the others especially Oden

it's always easy to look at guys hindsight, i mean every year there's guys that turn out much better than their draft position. with that said i don't think you can count Oden in that because injuries are different than a player just not being good enough imo...it's like saying chicago regrets drafting jay williams

That's a good call. Noah is looking like a rebounding machine en route to an AS appearance. he's a good passer with an above average IQ, though I'm not ready to call him the best passing center in the league.

It's so funny people are speaking so well about him, I was defending him all off-season. People were swearing up and down that Bosh was so much better than him and they would much rather have Bosh or Amare than him, wow, good call people.

True

Yeah, and what about all the haters that said that the Bulls should have given up Noah along with Deng and Taj Gidson and the Bobcats pick that the Bulls got for Tyrus (play when I want to) Thomas. Let's see, now that would have been three players averaging 53 pts and 29 boards combined, for one player who can't spell defense averaging 26 pts and 7 boards! Besides, what everyone failed to realize, is that the Nuggets absolutely refused to take Deng back in any trade scenario. So, the trade would have been impossible money wise! Just think, when Boozer comes back, the Bulls will have Gibson coming off the bench who has shown the ability to average 15 and 7 will playing regularly. The Bulls are just fine thank you. Besides, they can wait and get him for nothing this summer thru free agency.

November 12, 2010  04:09 PM ET

if Boozer can come back, stay healthy and pose a consistant post threat this team can be very dangerous.

Noah is one of the best defensive players in the league imo, he covers a ton of space and can protect the rim and obviously there's very few guys who can stick with Rose on the drive

The good part is the Bulls can sign Melo after this year and still keep Noah.
