08:07 AM ET 11.13 | In a perfect world, Knicks brass long have envisioned flamboyant Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio winding up in the city he wants to be in: New York. But multiple sources within the Timberwolves organization guaranteed Rubio will start his career with the club, not as a Knick. Minnesota brass is convinced that Rubio will play for the club next season, when his Barcelona buyout falls to $1 million. NBA teams are able to pay $500,000 for European buyouts, so Rubio would have to foot only $500,000 of the bill.

But would Rubio want to play for the hapless Knicks?

Who cares, how about that 30/30 Kevin Love dropped on their sorry arses.

In the first place Rubio is not that good. Secondly Knicks need a new coach. It may have to come down to fire D'Antoni chants to get him outta NY. He's underachieved since he got here and now with improved talent its still the same ole ****.... we're not supposed to be losing to Philly, Wolves and Warriors.... wtf man... get him outta here quickly. As for Melo I hope he stays away from NY... he can do better than the horror show D'Antoni is running.

He needs to change the starting 5.

Felton
Walker
Chandler
STAT
Turiaf

Let men play ball and stop that favoritsm color coded ****.

Yes and its a shame. D'Antoni's system makes it easy for players to have career nights on Knicks. Look what Rondo did to us in Boston.... then Kevin Love... yikes. Bring JVG back... it's about time we see some NY D... when teams shook coming to the garden cos we stifle then NY style... this euro style basketball is not for NY... f D'Antoni and his so called system. It only works in Phoenix.

Not only that but Love with 31 points was NOT the leading scorer for the T-Wolves, it was get this Beasley at 35 points, who guard the sF Gallo... the KNICKS led a Half Time 65-51......

Stay in Spain, Bro.

November 13, 2010  09:21 AM ET

But, in the Knicks defense what little there is ...what up with Toronto beating Orlando .....

November 13, 2010  09:27 AM ET

And as for Rubio in Euro Ball not being that great....remember Brandon Jennings of the Bucks did not have great numbers in Euro ball either ..... that is why the New York Knicks past on him at #8 .... and took Jordan Hill

It's not the system, Your big men just suck on the boards period, especially the overrated and overpaid Stoudemire... get the Knicks a good PG and you'll be seeing what D'antoni has been preaching this whole time to the team.

D'antoni is a younger version of Don Nelson. An exciting and fun style of play that is critically lacking in defense and rebounding. You can build good teams with that philosophy but you just can't win a title like that. The Suns, Mavericks, Warriors didn't do anything and neither will the Knicks no matter who they have at point.

Lmao, damn either the Wolves or the Knicks, talk about stuck between a rock and a hard place.

i still cannot believe the knicks blew a 20+ lead in the 3 Q to lose that game. UNREAL. I am still upset. I knew the love/chandler matchup was not going to be a good one for the knicks. Ronie better get healthy and fast.

i am sorry, there is no way you can put walker at the starting SG. Fields is doing fine right now, but no way walker can be a starter.

T-Wolves are a young, athletic team...and are starting to show promise. Why wouldn't he want to give it a shot? I've been saying this all along. He will be a T-Wolf, or he won't be in the NBA
