08:21 AM ET 11.14 | The addition of Vin Mazzaro could make the Royals a little more willing to deal Zack Greinke, who could be the Rangers' Plan B behind re-signing Cliff Lee.

Imagine that KC trading their top talent. MLB needs to downsize to get rid of some of these teams who are living on the revenue sharing program and not even trying to develope a contender.

It will be Greinke and Lee in Texas.

The Owner for the Royals has done nothing but run a once proud franchise into the cellar. This crook should be forced to pay the people of Kansas City back the tax money he stole from them for the stadium improvements or at least sell the team to someone who will make it fun for the fans in KC to go to a game and watch major league talent and not be forced to watch this farm team.

I believe the Twins would be a perfect fit for Greinke. Good team that desperately needs an ace.

November 14, 2010  12:43 PM ET

oh ... and second hand news from a second hand paper?

November 14, 2010  06:19 PM ET

And the chatter goes on...

November 14, 2010  06:26 PM ET

The Royals have much too high of expectations for what tthey should get in return for Greinke.

I think they would be best suited just dealing him for 3 or 4 minor league prospects. Maybe they can pull off a deal like the Rangers did in getting rid of Teixera.
