Who will quarterback Vikings in 2011?

08:26 AM ET 11.14 | It seems unlikely that Brad Childress will be back as coach, and if that's the case, it would seem to eliminate the possibility of the Vikings acquiring stumbling Donovan McNabb, whom Childress coached as offensive coordinator in Philadelphia. Chances of a return of Brett Favre, 41, for a third season in Minnesota seem remote, even if a coach whom he likes is brought in. The Vikings' best bet might be to draft a QB in the first round, sign a guy like Chad Pennington of Miami for a one-year bridge and then turn the job over to the first-round draft pick.

McNabb

After the fiasco of this year, I doubt Favre will want to be back. Andrew Luck might be the guy.

Hey, where are all the new NFL threads? By the way, did anyone else see that glorious Notre Dame whooping of Utah? Was it not the most beautiful thing this season?

One vote for T-Jack. It might be the only one he gets.

Which points out that the story could have been one about at least a dozen teams. Cards, Eagles, 'Skins, Raiders, Niners, etc.

He just said 'Jackson' so I thought he meant LaToya. T-Jack likely will never be a regular starter anywhere.
