09:18 AM ET 11.14 | The NBA trade-rumor mill has recently included Steve Nash's name, although that is viewed more as speculation than anything else. Still, the Knicks are going to do their due diligence, just in case the Suns are actually interested in moving the face of their franchise. The Knicks "will make an inquiry," one team source said regarding Nash's possible availability.

Would Nash want to join the circus?

funny point is that everyone thought amare would miss Nash, which he does since Felton has not grasped the pic n roll yet, plus teams are putting 4 guys in the paint to stop amare, but it also shows Nash and the suns seriously miss amare. This was a team that went to the conference finals and they have a losing record now w/out amare.

I don't know why new york publications keep throwing Steve Nash out their like he is the answer to the knicks problems. Nash isn't a good defender and certainly not a rebounder. Even if they made the trade right now for him as I type they would probably have Nash playing at a high level for another season or two max then they would need to start looking for his replacement.

From ESPN. ;) PHOENIX -- Steve Nash has announced that he and wife Alejandra are in the process of a divorce.

The Phoenix Suns' point guard revealed the situation in a statement Saturday, a day after the birth of the couple's son, Matteo.

so to NY to get away from the ex!...

What I'm wondering is why doesn't D'antoni or Walsh hire an assistant who is there to do nothing but defense. Similiar to how Doc Rivers had Tom Thibodeax install a defense which made guys like Allen and Pierce more responsible defenders. We all know the knicks don't have any premier defenders but when you look at the length and athleticsm on the roster you can see them with any kind of defensive coaching at all at least being a mediocre defensive team instead of a wet paper towel.

Um, pardon me sir; the Suns are 4-4 without Stoudemire--which makes them 3 games better than the Bricks with him.

Nash to NY makes sense to me. Next go after a couple of "do everything" forwards like Iggy and Diaw.

November 14, 2010  10:43 AM ET

This is so typical of the Bricks. 1st of all, Nash will be 37 years old at seasons end. Then what? Secondly, the Suns have already stated he isn't available. And last but not least, what do the Bricks have to trade that the Suns could use--and please don't suggest Eddy Curry's expiring contract.

NY isn't a circus its more of a defensive graveyard, you know where defense goes to die......Since steve has never been able to even guard his own shadow,he'll fit right in.....

lol, True, indeed. Nash loves D'Antoni (Not Porter). D'Antoni loves Nash. Awww...
All Knicks now need is love or Love. You choose. :)

Does anyone see the common thread here? D'Antoni seems to be trying to slowly but surely move the team he had in Phoenix, here to NY? Why? Could it be because lightning struck there, and he's trying to now recreate the same scenario in an effort to further mask his incompetency as a coach? Any coach worth a tinker's damn can coach the players he's got, and doesn't need to reacquire the players he's had. This guy has got to go, and be made to take James Dolan with him. OH THE HUMANITY!!!

you know doc dandummy sucks...

I cant see the suns giving up nash...,thats wishful thinking on knicks part.......they are in trouble and know their 100 mil investment is about to hurt them if they dont do something.......but the first start should be get rid of that dumb coach
