08:07 AM ET 11.16 | Brandon Jennings, aching Achilles and all, is proving to be a gamer. Despite being one of the smallest players in the league at 165 pounds, Jennings doesn't take games off. He was the only Buck to start all 82 regular-season games and all seven postseason games last season as a rookie. He hasn't missed one game yet this year, either. ... "Last season, Brandon played in 97 consecutive games, including preseason games and had about 3,000 (2,671) regular-season minutes," Bucks general manager John Hammond said. "He seems to be one of those guys who, maybe we'll say at some point in his career, is pound for pound one of the toughest players in the league."

It's good the Milwaukee Journal is supporting a local player...

... whether he's "toughest" or not, he plays with his injuries and, for a little guy, quite well.

The toughest players in the league would probably be Kobe bryant, and AI if he was still playing in the NBA

T&R left out the Funny line from the story ;) ...

Is Jennings on his way to being the NBA's version of Brett Favre?

...LOL ;)))

November 16, 2010  09:43 AM ET

He's not the toughest player but I love this kids game and attitude... really fun to watch

November 16, 2010  09:55 AM ET

Are you tougher than Rubio, Bro?

November 16, 2010  10:03 AM ET

Is he tougher than Psycho T, bro?

November 16, 2010  10:15 AM ET

What you jokers are missing is the "pound-for-pound" aspect of the statement.

It's easy to be tough when you're 200 to 230 pounds (or more).

But as mentiond earlier......this guys' a 165LB pip-squeak.....and a pretty d@mn tough one, at that!

November 16, 2010  10:17 AM ET

Durable, maybe. Toughness is mentality.

November 16, 2010  10:20 AM ET

Jennings must be tough. Otherwise why would KG bark at him? Oh I forgot, KG only picks on small guards....

November 16, 2010  10:32 AM ET

Wait a second, You mean Chris bosh isn't the toughest player in the NBA?

Amen to that! Just because he has't missed a game after 1 season? Who writes this stuff?

November 16, 2010  11:01 AM ET

Just because he had one injury free season he is the toughest player in the NBA? You gotta be kidding me!

November 16, 2010  11:07 AM ET

Forgive me if I don't but this guy is the toughest in the league 10 games into his second season. Though, starting 100% of the games in a season is an impressive stat, especially for a guy that weighs 165 lbs. Stay tuned...
