08:06 AM ET 11.19 | Bill Parcells stepped down as Miami's EVP of football operations on Sept. 7, but it may not mean the current daily consultant is tapering off. Judging by Parcells' own words in an upcoming NFL Network documentary about his life, Parcells likely won't even be consulting for the Dolphins in the near future. Instead, he sounds like he will be giving his input to another NFL team sooner rather than later. "Get me back out there," Parcells says near the end of the NFL Films-produced Bill Parcells: Reflections on a Life in Football, which debuts Friday night on NFL Network at 8 p.m. "I can do this one more time. That's how I feel."

He'll have some jobs to choose from... maybe around 10.

November 19, 2010  08:09 AM ET

Is there a surprise in this story? He sees all the opportunities that will be available. And there will be LOTS!!!

Do tell.... you could be a hero in MN

November 19, 2010  08:16 AM ET

Dallas? Hmmm?

November 19, 2010  08:16 AM ET

Put me in coach I am ready to play...He will have his choice of where he wants to go.

That odd thought ran through my mind. He knows all the players.

November 19, 2010  08:18 AM ET

He's going to Buffalo...that way he will have been a part of all 4 AFC East teams

There are plenty of teams that do need to be rebuilt from the ground up. And there's only one Tuna. Wherever he ends up, that will be the team to watch in 3 years. He's not going to choose a team like Dallas, with an interfering owner, or Arizona, where he won't get a budget to work with.

November 19, 2010  08:19 AM ET

Is he trying to work for all 32 teams before he dies?

November 19, 2010  08:20 AM ET

Come back to the Boys!

he and Jerry actually worked pretty well together. what drove him out was the T.O. nonsense.

Why not? Farve will play for all 32 before he retires.

Have to blame Jerry for that. So much for working well together.

Come to the Panthers. If you can rescue that sinking ship, Bill, you are GOLD.

At this stage of his career he may be better suited as a general manager than a coach. If that is what he's looking for, then Dallas could be a good fit, if JJ has the intelligence to step away and let him rebuild the team. That's a big if, but Dallas is a team in need of a good GM, and Parcells knows his stuff.

The HOPE is that Jerry has finally learned something this season. Then again..all that facial stretching may have shrunk his brain to the size of a walnut.

I doubt Dallas could ever work- because Parcells would want to run things & he saw that it didn't work before.

Parcells left Dallas because he wanted out. JJ offered him a contract extension but Bill declined. That's when JJ signed Wade. Parcells is not coming back to Dallas.

Who would want this clown. He comes in signs a contract for 4-6 years guaranteed money then walks out after 2 years. relaxes for a year then signs another contract to coach somewhere else.
