Blackhawks irk Canucks coach

10:23 AM ET 11.21 | Canucks coach Alain Vigneault wasn't too happy with the players the Hawks were using on the power play with the game in hand Saturday. His words only make the Hawks-Canucks rivalry more compelling. "Obviously we're going to have to find a way to play better at home against that team," Vigneault said after the Hawks demolished his team 7-1. "We basically embarrassed ourselves tonight in front of our fans, and they did everything they could tonight to rub it in our face -- 6-0 and they throw their No. 1 power play unit [out there] when it's a 5-on-3 [power play]. They have every right to do that. They did it. They were pushing it, and they did." Hawks coach Joel Quenneville was asked about his power-play personnel moments after Vigneault's comments. The Hawks' No. 1 power-play unit consists of Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa, Patrick Sharp and Brent Seabrook. During a 5-on-3 in the third period, Quenneville sent out Kane, Toews, Viktor Stalberg, Duncan Keith and Nick Boynton. The Hawks' only had a two-man advantage for 34 seconds -- all game.

No matter how crappy the Blackhawks are playing they always seem come to play against Vancouver. And no matter how they lose, Vancouver always finds a way to be petty in defeat. I love watching my team crush these losers.

I'd be pretty irked too if my team got such arse kicking every time they met. The the Hawks own the Can'tnucks!
I turned the game on just in time to see Booby Lou get scored on 4 times! Loved it! He was at his flopping best! Even the refs got in on it when the Hawks got rolling! Not that the Hawks needed their help, mind you.
It was a thing of beauty! A masterpiece! And, to see Bobby Lou chase out of the game, made it even sweeter!

Thta's about the size of it. The game before that Turco was peppered for 7 goals, so why not see if they can up their PP%? Alain was being a BABY on this one!!!
They were beating us so, why beat us further, we wouldn't do that. I won't let my team score more than 3 or 4 goals a game against an opponent when on top.

I don't think he was being a baby at all. When he said "They have every right to do that...", I took it to mean that he was more upset with his own guys than he was with anything the 'Hawks did.
