08:01 AM ET 11.22 | Among the questions surrounding the Vikings -- Will Brad Childress be fired? Is the team coming apart? -- is whether Brett Favre just up and retires. It sure sounded like it Sunday. ... If he's going to come back, then he's going to have to talk himself into it. When he left Sunday, it was for good. That was not "see you later." It was goodbye. Twice he was asked if he's committed to finishing the season. He would not make promises. "I came back for a Super Bowl," he said. "But also, I knew there was a chance it wouldn't happen." What do you mean you're going to re-evaluate? "I have no idea," he said, smiling. "That was just an answer."

Oh please let it happen!

November 22, 2010  08:09 AM ET

WHY???

November 22, 2010  08:09 AM ET

Of course we all know Chilly will be gone, that's a given, time for a fresh face at HC.

It's time, Brett. Really. Hang 'em up and let TJack see if he can really do the job, or if the Vikings have to seriously look for a new quarterback with their high draft picks this year.

Oh, they traded one of those picks for Randy Moss? Well, then, as a Pats fan, by all means keep playing.

Yes, please keep on truckin' Brett. The Pats would like a high pick in the 3rd round.

No use on quitting now.

November 22, 2010  08:16 AM ET

If he's going to call it quits, no better time than now.

And they're very likely to get one now.

He sounded like he was going to yesterday after the game. but I would look for Childress to get fired first, probably as soon as today.

I don't think he's going anywhere until he gets to 300 consecutive games

Send him to the Titans. We could use another quitter quarterback.

November 22, 2010  08:18 AM ET

How ironic is it that the Packers shut the lights out on his career.

He's got nothing left, I don't see it happening.
