Critics don't worry Stoops

University of Arizona football coach Mike Stoops is concentrating on what is happening on the field, not the building criticism and doubt surfacing about the program. "There is not enough time in the day to answer all those questions," Stoops said Monday. "We all want to win." Without winning the final remaining games the Wildcats will not play in a bowl. The win total is being closely monitored, however, with the Wildcats 14-28 under Stoops in three-plus seasons.

Goodbye Mike. Don't let the doorknob hit you where the good Lord split you.

OU will take him back, he's a great defensive coach.

Go back to OU and live off your brothers success!

Arizona at best is grabbing recruits that did not get picked up by USC, UCLA or AZ State. UA will take a 6-5 season and call it a success, Stoops is just one of many under achieving coaches at this second tier program.

Pitt will take him...major upgrade on Paul Rhoads as D.C.

Shoot, Pitt would take Paul Bear Bryant talking from the grave in spirit form as headcoach right now. Wandstedt tenure has been a debacle of embarassing proportions.

That is extremely funny, Stoops' recruiting classes have been rated higher than ASU's in 2 of the 3 years, and last year was rated lower because UofA took an APR hit and only took 16. ASU's was still rated behind USC, UCLA, Cal, Oregon and Washington.

Yeah, ASU is a recruiting juggernaut. You can say he is an underachieving coach, but Koetter and ASU didn't hold a candle to his recruiting prowess.
