08:14 AM ET 11.25 | While there is merely speculation the Twins will make a play for Japanese infielder Tsuyoshi Nishioka, a more concrete addition may come in the form of Justin Morneau, who has been sidelined since early July but has resumed his workouts. "The road to recovery is going well," Morneau wrote in an e-mail. "I started working out again this week, and I am feeling pretty good. It has been a long and frustrating road, but feels good to be able to function normally on a day-to-day basis. The first couple of workouts have gone well."
