Rockies eyeing Pavano, Floyd, Kazmir

Pavano needs to lose the "Boogie Nights" pornstache.

The Rockies can only afford players that come with substantial baggage.

Floyd isn't even a free agent. He's signed for 3 more years so unless they plan on trading the Sox someone with decent skill and upside I doubt they're getting him. They aren't giving them Tulo and for the Sox to get rid of Floyd it definitely won't be a 1-for-1 deal with what the Rockies have.

They need some pitching. Their number one draft choice Rex Brothers may help some this year but they are thin there.

If the Rockies offered Seth Smith or Fowler along with a top pitching prospect that might tempt Kenny Williams to give up Floyd...

yeah, he was really, really bad out there. With no exaggeration, it was hard to believe he was a major leaguer watching him play LF....
