10:04 AM ET 11.28 | Jamal Crawford was the first victim two years ago of the Knicks' cap-clearing crusade. And perhaps he can still be part of the future. Crawford, a free agent this July, said he would "definitely listen" to the overtures from the Knicks, contract-extension talks with Atlanta having hit an impasse. Crawford thrived in D'Antoni's offense -- as the Knicks got off to a 6-3 start. The Knicks were 6-5 when he was traded for Al Harrington.

not a good move....they got enough shoot happy players with sketchy defense ....go after some size and great defenders...spend wisely not just for the sake of spending

Let's face it, when a player wants to go to a *Dog-toni* team because he knows he'll look good playing there... he's a loser. These days it seems like a lot of coaches are only as good as the players they have available to them. There's no teaching, developing... in a word, coaching. There are very few young players who end up thriving in whatever system they're put into because coaches don't do their jobs. There is nothing but a bunch of enablers who get paid millions of dollars for doing nothing. Amar'e was getting abused by Blake Griffin (as expected)... Did the Knicks adjust? No, they just ended up on the Sports Center highlight reel. Jamal Crawford may provide another loaded weapon, but little to nothing else to help the Knicks. Having said all of this, I really couldn't care less about the Knicks or *Dog-toni*.
