08:23 AM ET 11.29 | At some point, perhaps teams will find that Derek Jeter is going nowhere. Though his negotiations with the Yankees have become testier than most anyone imagined they would be, other teams remain skeptical that Mr. Jeter would bolt from the Bronx. ... One of the teams most often mentioned as a possible alternative destination for Mr. Jeter is the San Francisco Giants. They could be attractive in that they would give him a chance to win and play in a big market. And Giants general manager Brian Sabean was the Yankees' vice president of player development when they drafted Mr. Jeter in 1992. The Giants have been in contact with Mr. Jeter's agent, Casey Close, who also represents their catcher, Buster Posey. But they are not seriously pursuing him at the moment, according to a person familiar with the team's thinking.

Oh, please! You mean to tell me that there is NOTHING ELSE going on the baseball now????????????????? *gag*

The freaking media needs to stop speculating, Jeter needs to stop being so greedy and the Yankees need to put an offer on the table and tell him to take it or leave it!

In funnier news, the Caption on an article about Vazquez is quoted as saying, "The Marlins strengthened an already strong rotation by adding Javier Vazquez."

Yea, it would be shocking if a useless American League pitcher moved to the National league and nearly wins the Cy Young. Oh, wait Vazquez already did that.

Let the free market system work. Until then, enough already.

Still hoping for the National Day of Outrage and Grief in NY due to a Jeter signing elsewhere. The pathetic pontificating and ceaseless, senseless flood of horse **** regarding his "all-time greats" status from weepy Yankee fans would be mesmerizing.

November 29, 2010  09:58 AM ET

These blogs will continue until Jeter signs with NY...

... I'm predicting it gets done by Christmas.

As a gift for the Yankees fans:)
