08:46 AM ET 11.29 | A two-pass, 26-yard performance had DeSean Jackson down postgame Sunday, or perhaps it was Andy Reid. After the game, Jackson sat in front of his locker with his face buried in his hands for about 20 minutes and had to be consoled by several teammates, including LeSean McCoy and Brent Celek. ... Multiple team sources told The News Journal that Jackson was chewed out by coach Andy Reid in front of the entire team after the game. Jackson, one source said, had irritated Reid by having a loose demeanor before the game and not taking pregame drills seriously. Another source said that Reid wouldn't have reacted so angrily if the Eagles had won.

Reid was still angry that Thanksgiving was just once a year. DeSean was just in the wrong place.

The dude needs to grow up and be responsible. Good for Reid. Not addressing it would be like acting like a cupcake.

Too busy reading their press clippings. They need to show up every game or they will quickly fade back into "the pack"

Andy Reid + cupcake = A happy Andy Reid.

They never left the "pack". Their record is deceiving because they've been feasting on a schedule loaded with cupcakes. They are 2-2 against good teams and no, Indy is not a good team this year.

The Eagles better be careful or they will finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

Agreed. NFC winner will come from the north or south, AFC winner will come from the north or east.

Why can't someone chew out Andy Reid for atorcious clock managment?

November 29, 2010  09:27 AM ET

How stupid of Reid. Jackson returns punts and plays wide receiver. I remember seeing one of Vicks throws to Jackson end up 5 yards in front of him in the dirt. Vick may be the most important part of your offense right now but Jackson is just as much a big play player and is a threat to go all the way anytime he touches the ball.

November 29, 2010  09:34 AM ET

His behavior is post partum concussion syndrome. He now thinks he's better than he actually is.

He should have an assistant on standby for the last two minutes of each half for the rest of his career. Reid goes from good coach to full-on **** in the two minute drill.

Or an 11 year old that plays Madden once a week that takes over

About time someone said something to that punk arse. Celebrates every catch like he just won the super bowl.

November 29, 2010  09:39 AM ET

Vick is right. What he is really saying is if you take the deep stuff away the guy really does not have a game. Reid must know that, he is at the practices too.
He should be chewing out some guys on defense.

Does anyone remember earlier this year when it looked like every team in the NFC East would struggle just to attain a .500 record?

Actually, there were some on this site that claimed the winner of that division would be .500 at best.
