09:47 AM ET 11.30 | Mark Richt is ready to reload. On the recruiting front, Richt reiterated his vision of signing an in-state "Dream Team" that, he said, could make an impact as soon as Georgia's Sept. 3 season opener against Boise State in Atlanta's Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. "We're trying to recruit guys right now that can make an impact so when we play in that Georgia Dome next year and open against Boise State, we can introduce those kids to the college football world and make a difference at the University of Georgia," Richt said.

I may be wrong but I thought a coach always wanted to recruit the type of players he describes here. I guess that hasn't been their focus in previous recruiting.

Heck, MR could be in Coral Gables by the time they tee it up in the GA Dome.

Cmon Mark we all know you aren't playing BSU. They're afraid to play the big boys.PS--would you mind sending some names over to Mack so we can see about picking up these kids.

Dooley is doing pretty well recruiting in GA so far. I wonder if Richt has noticed.

No, he was previously recruiting based on grades and test scores.

No but apparently our guys can't recruit so they can use all the help they can get.

Recruiting isn't the problem in Austin. It's coaching.

Whaaaat? The Lone Star State is now barren ground for recruiting?

Mack needs some SEC speed and SEC type players.

I will help you..Crowell and Ray Drew are 2 names...You might need a LB and DE since we getting Rasco and Thompson .. lol

We're trying to pull both of them. Supposedly, we have a chance for Crowell, but maybe not Drew. The auburn Tiger$$$$$ are recruiting Drew hard.

I am sure you all have a 50/50 chance w/ Crowell...I know LUS in on Drew as well..But I hear he reads the Bible w/ Richt weekly... So as long as Richt is the Coach, I ont think either of us have a chance

Might as well be reading the Bible with Satan.

True... UT has more $$$$ than anyone else... Mack isnt hurting for sure...Thats why UT didnt want to join the SEC.... They dont want those type of players

UT = Tennessee!!!

Texas has to pay royalties to Tennessee for using "UT".

The auburn tiger$$$ claim Drew is almost a lock for them. Maybe that's why Chizik is always saying, "It's a God thing."

LUS, have you heard anything on Corey Lemiuex that almost went to FSU and then went to the A Tiger$$$? Someone said FSU turned them in on that one, as well.
