Booty better, but Sanchez to start

07:30 AM ET 10.25 | USC quarterback John David Booty on Wednesday threw passes with better accuracy, timing and velocity than he did the day before, but he is not likely to supplant Mark Sanchez as the starter Saturday against fifth-ranked Oregon. Pete Carroll has maintained that Booty would not start unless his finger was healed. After watching him Wednesday, Carroll said Booty was "ahead of schedule."

SC has already choked this season away, so who cares.

Read this whole story in today's LA Times folks. It is interesting to see the difference in attitude (or at least in public) of Booty and Sanchez currently. In my opinion from what I have read Sanchez is handling this situation with class and humility, while Booty is beginning to act like a little jerk (read his quote). I'm a Sanchez fan lately so maybe I'm a tad biased on this. I wouldn't want to be a Carroll on this. And as a fan of the Trojans, this game has me greatly concerned (shouldn't any game have us concerned after Stanford?)
Go Trojans

No,

Sanchez will lead USC back to its rightful place in the BCS mix. We have a lot of healthy guys coming back on o-line and l-backer and with McKnight breaking out, he will run against a weak Oregon defense.

Count on it!

Finally a Trojan Fan... I say keep Sanchez in there...

...Any sacrifice necessary for the victory!

"Booty better"? Best booty is in western Canada.

Oregon has lost three in a row since 2002 (I tried to look up the schedule before then, but I couldn't find anything).
Denis Dixon is gonna really want that win over USC since he's a senior.
Oregon was the last team before USC to win the Pac 10 too.

I'm thinking Oregon 31, USC 27.

Uhm that "weak" defense has held their opponents to under 135 pts ALL YEAR while sscoring 333 pts. I see no weakness on either side of that ball

And that's the game.

Jesus is always right. Trojans lost!
