09:14 AM ET 12.04 | With Terrell Owens closing in on his 10th 1,000-yard season and the Bengals eliminated from the playoff chase, Owens did leave open the possibility of returning to Cincinnati next year. Owens, who turns 37 on Thursday, had only one serious suitor this past offseason, the Bengals. He is sure to have a lot more the next time around.

Obviously, I haven't been around for a while. How's CP taking the Tabby's season?

There that's better.

TO is having a good season thanks in part to Ocho, who gets the serious coverage, leaving TO open. That, and the Bengals getting a lot of passing yardage after the game has been decided. TO's season looks a lot better on paper than it really is.

Does it really matter?

If he does he will have a new HC and a new QB.

And I don't give a rip about the Bengals. He's found a home - let him stay there...

Sorry bk... but my hate for T.O. never gets old... Still as fresh as the day he urinated all over the star.

I thought he dropped a deuce on it.

You friggin guys would do or say anything not to give T.O. any type of credit, but it really does'nt matter because he won't need your support when he receives his HOF Yellow Jacket and sit amongst his peers and not yours, you'll only be stuck with a gleeful look on your faces. T.O. numbers simply can't be questioned whether you like him or not.........I don't. I however won't make myself look or sound like a fool because I don't want to give a guy credit will ya. Your T.O. hate is old and pathetic his numbers speak loud and clear just like his foolish mouth.

As of right now T.O has 900 more recieving yards than Tim Brown and 1600 more than Chris Carter. Obviously those numbers will go up with the rest of this season and if he playes next year. He won't catch Jerry Rice. I don't see him as a first ballot guy. Carter and Brown aren't in and I would bet if voters saw Brown Carter and T.O on the same ballot T.o loses everytime. Is he great? Yes but I think his antics will hinder his HOF status. Not saying he doesn't get in because he has the credentials but I am guessing he has to wait a few years.

The photo is the perfect wordless summary of T.O's career:

1. He's celebrating, so clearly he's just done something to impact the game -- touchdown, key third down conversion, something. There's no denying that he's been a productive, sometimes electrifying player.

2. But he's celebrating alone, not with any of his teammates -- not with the QB who delivered the ball, the OL who protected that QB, the other receivers who ran routes that diverted the defense. There's also no denying that T.O. is the poster child for today's "me first, me only" athlete.

3. The camera is aimed squarely on him. Finally, there's no denying that the media has been mesmerized by him for most of his career and has been a compliant partner in creating the T.O. persona.

Hey Otis, can't say I blame you. That antic done on the Star at your home was indeed shamefull and in classless taste.Hey Amished Mafias.......To not elect T.O. to the hall with his stats would be disgraceful and warrant the hall a joke and popularity contest based solely on likes and dislikes. Given some of the guys thats in with some of the stats they have makes some of the hall voters already questionable......a denial of T.O would also add to this sentiment.I.g...........K. Stable.....R. Guy........Bob Hays..........L.C. Greenwould........Drew Pearson(by the way Drew is on the 70s All Decade Team) lets use some common sense here buddy....not hate when it comes to the hall........T.O. Stats are undenialable!

I'm not saying he doesn't have the credentials to get in. But if he has to appear on a ballot with Tim Brown Chris Carter Issac Bruce Marvin Harrison and Henry Ellard he will have to wait. Art Monk waited years sitting at number 4 all time in stats and with the exception of Harrison the rest of the guys are squeaky clean. He has had one deep post season and isn't a team guy. He should get in because he has the stats but nobody should be shocked if he waits a few years. Shoud be a great speech when he gets in. Who do you think inducts him after all of the ppl he has alienated over the years? Rosenhaus?
