Dontavius Jackson, of Heard County, Ga., rated the 12th-best running back in the nation by Scout.com, plans to commit to Clemson, Georgia or LSU on Wednesday. "I just wanted to do it at the end of the month," said Jackson, when asked why he chose Oct. 31 to make the announcement at his school.

I hope he chooses UGA. UGA would have a great core of RB's with K Moreno, C King, and hopefully DJAX. Penn st is LB U and UGA is RB U.

October 25, 2007  09:02 AM ET

It would be good for him to choose Clemson since Ellington has already committed. He would be the power back for them just like James Davis.

Welcome to LSU. Oct.31'st is a big day in LSU football history....tis why he's waiting to make the announcement.

Les MIles coaching decisions are eventually going to bite him in the __.

October 25, 2007  12:19 PM ET

That loss to the BUFFS! bit OU in the ****.

October 25, 2007  12:25 PM ET

I heard Les made a comment on tv stating that they kicked Auburns A**, what kind of coach says that on national television after winning in the last seconds of game? Kicked their a** huh? Sounds like a lucky strike to me. What professionalism.

Go Bucks!

UGA got a couple of good backs already. I say he goes to Clemson, and become the successor to James Davis.

October 25, 2007  12:41 PM ET

We need more backs like Jackson at LSU. We will lose Hester and need another back. Scott will be a Sophomore and anyone could use more talent to push the starting backs.

October 25, 2007  12:42 PM ET

I won't lie...they did......I would like to see an LSU, OK duel......Stoop vs. Miles.....it would be a good story and a good game.

October 25, 2007  01:29 PM ET

Miles is headed to UM. This kid will not pick LSU. Miles is an IDIOT! He and Bo Pelini (Spelling?)will make decisions that will eventually take them out of the national championship picture.

October 25, 2007  01:55 PM ET

LSU is currently 4th on the list of 4 schools. Most believe his choices, in order, are: 1. UGA; 2t. Alabama; 2t Clemson; 4. LSU

Les Miles is a Jackass!!!

October 25, 2007  02:57 PM ET

LOL GATORHATOR How long have you been watching football?? Penn state could still be LB U, i guess. if not OSU, and UGA being RB U?? LOL how many good RB's has UGA produced?? 1, Hershel Walker lol thats it. They have 1 good RB now in Moreno, Others are incosistant, only thing i think you could call UGA Is "overlooked U"

How in the bleep did LSU lose to Kensucky ??

October 25, 2007  05:12 PM ET

"kardiackid" DJAX eliminated Alabama a week ago. He said hes not interested in the tide.

October 25, 2007  05:22 PM ET

Miles has backed up his decisions!

October 25, 2007  09:16 PM ET

He didn't back them up against Kentucky!

October 26, 2007  01:05 AM ET

How in the BLEEP does a former Florida player think he requires a translator when traveling to England. It's easy - SEC. Nothing down there makes sense. Including the preseason ranking benefits.

October 26, 2007  07:37 AM ET

Les Miles is an idiot.
Les Miles is a jackass.
Les Miles will make decisions that take LSU out of BCS contention.

In reality, Les Miles is winning football games. He is 29 - 5 (85%) in less than three years.

He gets criticized for "gambling" against Florida and Auburn, and criticized for playing too conservatively against Kentucy - sometimes by the same people.

Isn't it a good idea to be unpredictable? Isn't the best time to pass when the defense expects you to run? Aren't 7 points better than 3?
