08:53 AM ET 12.05 | Miami will look to speak with some coaching candidates at a football function Monday in New York. More than a half dozen remain in the mix, including Mississippi State's Dan Mullen and Connecticut's Randy Edsall. UM is considering interviewing Texas Tech's Tommy Tuberville and will try to gauge interest of Stanford's Jim Harbaugh and perhaps Nebraska's Bo Pelini. Jon Gruden suggested UM consider ex-Vikings coach Brad Childress.

Don't think The U will consider anything Chuckie suggests after his antics. But maybe Brad Childress would bring Brett Farve along with him since they have such a love fest going.

Nice avatar change.

Pellini would be an idiot to consider changing from Neb and Big 10(12)....don't care who they (The U) get as long as it isn't Mullen

Wow, end of the season gossip hour! You'd think they would be close on something, but have not a clue, from what I am reading.

Will we see EWO on here today? Gobble, gobble, gobble!

I heard that they may interview Bo Schembechler

Pelini would never leave NU, and I wouldn't want him any way. He's good for NU but not the right fit for Miami. My preference is Sumlin now, assuming we can't get Petersen or Patterson.

All three of the ones listed are very good coaches IMO.

The fact that he has passed away shouldn't deter them..............

that's just a wonderful recruiting pic there for going to Nebraska...

I knew it wasn't a good sign when we were ranked 13th in both polls, the BCS and power ranking of 13............Not a good sign at all....

If Bo left the 'Huskers and coached at the U, his lack of anger management in that sultry Miami weather would make him blow a head gasket for sure.

I'm glad they don't have any of those metal folding chairs on the sidelines...
