Foley offering the nation's best coaching job?

It's among the top with USC, Texas and Ohio State I would think.

Foley's intellegent enough to know he doesn't need to say it - the whole country already knows it is.

It's probably the best one available right now. It's one of the easier ones to recruit at, the school is dedicated to have top notch facilities, and it pays very well.

I would think USC and Texas are the top jobs because of the location edge...followed by Florida. It doesn't help that Gainsville is a dump.

I probably had a chance, but went out for my mom's birthday and had Lobster Thermidor at the Bonefish Grill and then followed it up with Dairy Queen cake at might folks house.

Lots of rumor that he told the team it was a health thing (which relates to a family thing), but obviously just emphasized "family" to the press.

Florida and Texas would be my top 2. For tax reasons alone.

Gainesville isn't a dump at all.

Facilities - check
Athletic department budget - check
Insanely rich talent base for recruiting - check
History of success and national relevance - check
High conference profile - check

If it's not the best, there aren't many better.
