Elway wants Broncos front-office job

If the Broncos front office is that worried about keeping the fan base happy, this might be a step in the right direction.

Whatever works, I just don't see that Elway brings much to the table as far as football operations. Unless he gives them a smokin' deal on a new car.

Sure, why not? It might help keep the fans happy, as was stated upthread.

Funny, all this time I thought the front office and head coaching positions was a package deal in Denver. Silly me...

I know I'm alone on this... but Elway is the most overrated QB in the last 30 years of professional football.

Maybe he should ask Dan Marino how well the front office gig worked.

Reeves wasn't there when they won it back to back. During the Reeves era, Elway was in 3rd and long most of the time due to Dan's crappy play-calling. By "sad" years you must be referring to all those wins and a few SB loses...
