Kansas may never match the schools in the Big 12 South when it comes to recruiting Texas and the Dallas area. What the Jayhawks have done is establish a productive Lone Star pipeline to Lawrence. When Kansas takes its 7-0 record into Texas A&M's Kyle Field today, its roster will feature 26 players from Texas, including nine starters. The emphasis is almost a necessity for the Jayhawks. According to Rivals.com, Texas produced 26 players who were selected in the 2007 NFL Draft. The total from Kansas high schools: one.
