10:05 AM ET 12.13 | Going into the weekend, Matt Carlino announced he would be seeking a new NCAA home, and, coming out of the weekend, it appears he has found at least one possibility. A source confirmed to the Sun on Sunday night that Carlino is working on setting up a mid-week visit to UNLV. ... After not playing in the Bruins' first seven games of the season, Carlino -- a Scottsdale, Ariz., native who spent his third and final year of high school at Bloomington, Ind., South High -- was quick to start the search for his next destination. It is believed that Carlino is looking to make a decision in the next week or two. Following UCLA coach Ben Howland's attempt to convert him to a shooting guard, he's looking for a suitor who will allow him to compete for time at the point.

Fact (not rumor): Matt Carlino was at the BYU-Arizona game in Salt Lake City Saturday. The Sun also says he spent all day Sunday talking to BYU's staff before heading home.

This article should read: "Wait until next year, UCLA"!!!! They don't have any seniors on this years team and will have the (twins) two guys that transferred from UNC next year.

Carlino and his dad wont have him playing anywhere he cant be THE pg. We IU fans tried to tell you UCLA fans he was going to bolt on you the minute he and his pops didnt get their way. Howland tried to turn him into a SG and he said I think i'll take my ball and go.

When Crean started recruiting Hulls for 2010 and then Yogi for 2012 Carlino bailed on his verbal to IU for UCLA. At this rate this kid is just going to bounce around the NCAA dropping to lower and lower tier programs until he's playing PG for a D3 school and it will be he and his daddies' doing. Gonna get whats coming no matter how hard you run Matt.

For the Wear twins to have any impact at ucla, they hopefully have bulked up big time over this past year. They got pushed around against quality HS players (Kawhi Leonard), and the same when they got to Chapel Hill. Don't count on them too much.

ICE, I don't expect too much out of the Twins next year, but at least they will have some height in the front court, with them and Smith.
