Teams interested in Bledsoe

The phone has been ringing, but Drew Bledsoe has been holding his ground. Despite interest from a handful of teams, he's not coming back to the NFL. When Bledsoe decided to retire in April, he figured a run of injuries to quarterbacks might create an opportunity for him to enjoy a 15th season as a starter. But much like his on-field style, Bledsoe isn't moving off the spot.

I hope he does not return. He walked away from the game on his own terms. He had a nice career and much to be proud of, leave it that way. He is not taking some team to the Super bowl, so why be a tackling dummy until some team can drop him at the end of the season.

He's a smart guy, he knows better.

Well, imagine that. Someone that knows when to say when.

He's slower than Byron Leftwich in a full body cast.He has nothing to prove to anybody and he's no Testeverde in the longevity issue.

Stay home and be rich.

Good call on his part. He is as immobile as the Statue of Liberty and in todays game that is dangerous. Precisely, he is "no Testeverde" and not many are.

Jaguars called him and he declined!!!

yeah, most of the teams in need of a qb are ones that have/had no Oline and their current starter got killed. Who in their right mind would think they could climb off the couch and survive that for long? Then again, if the money is good enough, I'm willing to be your tackling dummy for a few weeks. I'll even throw up some interceptions like Bledsoe would.

I think Bledsoe was tired of being an NFL quarterback. I read an article in some outdoor magazine, and it was about how much he was enjoying going out in the woods and on the lakes, and how much he was enjoying NOT being in the NFL. As a Dallas fan, I liked Bledsoe, and respected him. He handled his situation with a lot of class. However, he was very immobile, and he didn't read defenses well. During his last season with Dallas, he sat in the pocket until Glenn was open, and if Glenn didn't get open, he got sacked. Parcells benching him at halftime of the Giants game was because the play was designed to go to Owens, Owens was open, and Bledsoe went to Glenn anyway. Glenn was covered and the Giants got an interception.
I like Bledsoe, but he needs to stay retired.

Yeah I watched this guy in college and the first 7-8yrs in the NFL with the Pats. he was good didn't live up to the hype, but then again who does, But the way he played the last couple yrs I was glad to see him retire on a good note, I just could not see any team calling him for any reason except to say hi, and not to play. good god, you'd have to be pretty desperate. Sorry Drew you were good for ten but thats it.

They didnt print the whole article...teams are interested in him to pose for a sculptor, so the teams can create a bronze statue(since he does that well),as a tribute to has beens. And never were's.

Vikings, Dolphins??

his career wasn't that bad... at one time him and favre were the best two qb's in the nfl.... now... truth is he still better than what miami, chicago, buffalo, atlanta, maybe even tenesee and a few other teams got to offer... guess the madden game course is still alive and kicking!!!! he should stay retired... can't be that bad after all!!!!!

He was pretty much level-pegging with Romo when he was with Dallas, and people seem to think Romo is some kind of god.

He will only return to a team that (a) he feels can win a championship and (b) will employ him as the starter. This is pretty much a null category in that all championship-caliber teams currently have good quarterbacks. Maybe if the JAGS -- nah --
