Francis unhappy with Rockets rotation
Steve Francis did not expect much, but sounded shocked that he might begin the season receiving little or no playing time. With the Rockets' rotation taking shape and apparently excluding him, Francis said he did not know what he would do, but that he might have to do "something." Asked if he would be willing to wait and see if he could receive more playing time as the season progressed, Francis, 6-3, said he did not know how he would react to that situation, or even if he would want to wait.

The Rockets would be just fine if they got rid of his butt. I can't believe he is acting like this ALREADY. He hasn't played very well in the new system that is obvious. He needs to give it time and keep working to get in the rotation. He also made a comment about he turned down more money from other teams to come to houston... IDIDOT you got 30 mil from portland to go away...... I think if he starts really trippin they will let him go quickly. We have more than enough talent to get by without him. HE talked all that noise about just being a part of the TEAM and doing what is best for the TEAM and now this when he finds out that he may not be part of the rotaton GOING INTO GAME !!!!!! 81 more games to play steve!! You just MIGHT get some playing time in a couple of those remaming games.

I like Tracy McGrady and the Houston Rockets. I think Francis is a cancer to the Rockets like Kobe is to the Lakers. Francis was done 5 years ago! He should be happy to be cannon fodder for the Rockets. He may even get a shot at a ring (if Tracy's back holds out, and Yao doesn't snap in two).

i hope this gets settled down, cuz Tmac needs help and with Skip and Stevie Franchise at the guards that could be what he needs, and if bonzi ever decides to play they could be a top team in the west.

If he continues to complain, ship him back to New York. Then see what happens. He should start being a team player instead of being a distraction to everyone around him. Cmon, Stevie, coach the young ones. Show some class!

Boo friggin' hoo, Stevie boy.. You should be lucky that the Rockets even took a flyer out on you. Coming in with the expectation that either you're going to start or receive lots of minutes just because of who you are and the history you have with the franchise means absolutely nothing. Man, up, earn your minutes, and when you play, show them what you can do (other than pout and whine).

Steve Francis more than any other guy I can think of can't deal with not being the "man" it's almost impossible to get that guy to coexist with other players and to buy into a team system.

You would think that by now Frances would get the message. The reason he's constantly traded is because he doesn't fit in. Steve; the free gifts are over. Anything you get from now on, you're going to have to earn. Shut up and work.

Somebody please remind him that he's a HAS BEEN!!!!!
He's not even being considered as a help of the bench. People are talking about team player Luis Scola and a rejuvinated Bonzi Wells as the X-Factors off the bench.
Let him decay on the bench... And decay quietly while releasing carbon dioxides....

Who does he think he is? It's T-MAC's team or you may argue that it's YAO's team.
How could a has been bench player demand such a thing?
He's selfish and out of touch with reality.
Haven't he heard of former true Stars and Superstars who embraced supporting roles and became winners not to mention exemplary gentlemen. The likes of David Robinson, Ron Harper, Gary Payton, Alonzo Mourning.

Francis has been a malcontent his entire career. Honestly, I'm surprised he's still in the league.
