After visiting the campus, adding up all the pluses and comparing one school against another, Homewood-Flossmoor's Supo Sanni decided it was time to make a decision. On Sunday, the 6-4, 200-pound wide receiver/free safety made an oral commitment to Illinois. Sanni, who said he was recruited as a wide receiver but likely will play free safety in college, chose Illinois over Iowa and West Virginia, where his sister Olayinka is a senior. He also had been offered scholarships by Michigan State, Louisville, Iowa State and Western Michigan.

Wow, what a choice the guy had... Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, or West Virginia. Kinda like picking which cow pie smells best

Where are you from Guru?

October 29, 2007  12:03 PM ET

Yeah, tell us so we can make fun of you.

It would help if, when watching the few Illini games, I get in Chicago, you got more than fertilizer and pesticide commercial? When I was in Chambana, it was a little rural...and deadly dull, but no more so than College Station or South Bend.

On a different rant, I'd like to know what is wrong with my town, where I can see more Michigan and Notre Dame games than Illini games?

Ok..sine Guru..did not respond in an timely fashion, we will assign him a native land....Guru is from Atumwa Iowa....why? Because I like watching MASH rerun....

Guru...how can you possible make fun of these programs when you are a step above a ______ (insert cloven hoofed animal name here) patty?

October 29, 2007  04:30 PM ET

Pennypacker, it is really cute. Your attempt to be cute what with mentioning MASH and all. You spell it Ottumwa! I do think Guru was off base. Couldn't resist.
