10:54 AM ET 12.19 | Donald Fehr's younger brother, Steve, may end up working with him at the NHLPA. There's talk that Mathieu Schneider, who was part of the search committee for a new executive director, may end up being Fehr's top hockey lieutenant. What a tidy conflict-of-interest that would be to jump-start a "new" era for the NHLPA.

All In The Family, eh? The NHLPA will live to regret such arrangement. They already agreed to transfer way too much power into Fehr's hands.

Fehr's right-hand man could be...
... Satan. And even he would tell Fehr to tone down the rhetoric.
And like CGCP said, you should care Yoda. Look at what Fehr did to MLB. He doesn't care about any sport and he certainly does not care about the fans. The players' union might think they made a good move and from their perspective, they have. The game however will suffer from this.

Fehr is a huge J@ck0FF...therefor he will balance out the Buttmuch effect. Hopefully they will give each other heart attacks or ulcers then the league can get hockey people in place to work on making the game better instead measuring their egos or schvantzes.

Fehr is greedy, both personally and from the standpoint of the relationship between the union and ownership. Owners are also greedy. But the fact is that hockey is not a bottomless pit in which ownership and players can feed. Fehr cares not one whit about the game, it's future or the idiots (called fans) who pay huge prices for tix. I'm betting there is another work stoppage soon resulting in several lost franchises (not all bad) and a sudden reality check for upcoming players and multi-year, multi-million contracts. Enjoy it while it lasts, 'cause it ain't gonna last much longer.
