Favre 'went blank,' suffers concussion

08:03 AM ET 12.21 | Brett Favre was again knocked around Monday night, and, he admits, nearly knocked out cold. Favre acknowledged that he suffered a concussion on a sack in the second quarter of a 40-14 loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday at TCF Bank Stadium. Favre, however, was noncommittal when asked if he hopes to play in either of the team's final two games. ... Favre suffered a concussion on a sack by Corey Wootton, who beat left tackle Bryant McKinnie off the line, grabbed Favre and threw him to the ground. Favre's head and left shoulder hit the turf hard. Favre stayed on the ground briefly and then walked slowly off the field with the team's medical staff. "It was one of the few times that I kind of went blank there for a while," Favre said.

I'd like to see him play in the final game, then walk off the field under his own power at the final gun. He's been too much of a fixture in the NFL to leave on a cart, or with the trainer holding him up.
Besides, to keep the OTHER streak alive, he has to throw an interception on his final play, right?
