Another Drew, another Detroit shoulder separation

08:06 AM ET 12.21 | Detroit's quarterback injury issues were further compounded Sunday by Drew Stanton's shoulder. Stanton suffered a Grade 3 separation of the AC Joint in his left (non-throwing) shoulder in the second quarter of Sunday's 23-20 victory over the Buccaneers, according to a team source. Stanton, a former Michigan State player, played through the pain of the injury during the second half. Stanton likely will try to battle through the injury this week in order to be ready to play this Sunday at Miami. It would be his fifth NFL start. ... Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford suffered the same injury last year against the Browns and played four days later on Thanksgiving, so it's unclear how the injury might affect Stanton's status for the game at Miami.

Perhaps there should be hazard pay for quarterbacks in Detroit.

Or switch Suh to the "offensive line". That guy is a nightmare.

I'm tellin' ya...

Hill, Stanton, Stafford...

Maybe Mayhew should look at this and come to the conclusion that his offensive line isn't very good.

Once upon a time Drew Bledsoe almost got killed. But eventually all that did was lead to 3 Super Bowls.

...and a marriage to a super model for the replacement QB. Moral of the story: one man's curse is another man's blessing!

Although, if Drew didn't come in during the AFC Championship game against Pittsburgh, the Pats never win that SB.

Yup. Bledsoe was a class act. He came back after his injury and found himself holding a clipboard. Yet, he never complained, and when he got the call, he did his job.

Maybe the Vikings should keep him in mind for next year.

Purple hearts for those two. I have never seen QBs play with such toughness. Now about the 'O' line, how about a little help.
