10:02 AM ET 12.21 | According to a report, Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio was in Philadelphia to talk about replacing Al Golden. Golden, who guided Temple to an 8-4 finish this season, accepted the job at Miami last week. Addazio, 51, worked at Florida under Urban Meyer, who will coach his last game for the Gators in the Jan. 1 Outback Bowl against Joe Paterno and Penn State. A spokesman for the Florida athletic department said Addazio was expected to work the bowl game.

But is the offense going to work at the bowl game? That's the more important question.

Which is why I picked Penn St in all my college pick-ems. I think there is too much distraction at UF right now.

I'm sure GIE will help him pack.

They may wish that SEC speed could affect the game and get it over with faster!

PSU and 7? Easy money. This UF team is in shambles.

Unfortunately, that's likely a very accurate statement, but you never know how a team will react to adversity, especially come bowl time. Sometimes they come out like worldbeaters, and sometimes they never leave the bus.

This game is about as unpredictable as they come, IMO.

When did this guy become HC material?

December 21, 2010  11:49 AM ET

I wouldn't hire this guy to coach a Pop Warner team. He took one of the most potent offenses in the nation and absolutely destroyed it. UF's level of ineptitude on the offensive side of the ball this season is shocking. They have plenty of talent, but they look lost.

My guess is when FL was going to give him the HC job last year when Cryer "retired"

Usually I'd take major offense to this kinda talk from a Nole fan, but since it's EWO, and he's dissing Addazio, I think I can overlook it.

Not to mention the fact that he's correct...
