07:58 AM ET 12.22 | Any Aaron Rodgers' concussion symptoms these days -- especially a lack thereof -- are noteworthy. The Green Bay Packers medical staff has cleared Rodgers to return to the practice field, and possibly to play Sunday against the New York Giants, after he sat out for a week with a concussion, according to a report. ESPNWisconsin.com said a text message from Rodgers on Tuesday revealed the news. "I've been cleared," Rodgers is quoted as texting. Then the website said he added, after a pause, "It's not that big of a story. Is it?" It is for the 8-6 Packers fighting to get in to the playoffs.

Good news for Packers fans.

Roger or Flynn .... we need to know what's up in the last few seconds ... Coach ...

PACK looked lost on the LAST play in NE !

So the PACK can Win the last two games to have a chance for the Wild Card

Gutsy game by Flynn aside - this team isn't going anywhere without Rodgers.

I'm guessing he didn't get his texting skills from Favre.

Nicely done.

I wonder if Favre's naughty text was intended for someone else only to be intercepted by Sterger.

The Packers could hear some trade offers this offseason for Flynn.

A good point.

We're all "Count-ing" on Aaron Rogers now.

Red Flag! Matt Cassell anyone???

If you consider how little Cassell played in the pros/college before '08 he's done pretty well and still learning.

Correct. Besides, Flynn had the misfortune of backing up JaMarcus in college. When he did suit up a few years ago in a bowl game, he did extremely well. Plus he had a good senior season. A lot of teams slept on him during the draft, but he could realistically become a good starter in this league.

Perhaps. But they better wrap him in Charmin. He could get hurt again.....

Flynn looked poised right up until the last play of the game.

Go back two weeks. The Packers offense was ineffective against the Lions while Rogers was in. Then, they were ineffective when Flynn came in. The whole team stepped up against the Patriots Sunday night.

So, they can't put it all on Rogers.

But, I really, really want to see them beat the Giants, just to silence the loudmouth fans. Serious Giants fans aren't a problem, but this team and the Jets seem to attract a bad crowd.

Giants players talk a lot of **** on the field. Jets coach talks a lot of **** in the papers. I guess it comes with the territory. Go Packers!

Yeah, but you don't want Flynn to get hurt, either.

Ok cool. I was sort of half **** poking fun at the huge contract Cassell got for a few good games and I didn't do a very good job of portraying the humor. Flynn may very well be a servicable starter in the league.

Remember Favre other back up Matt Hasselbeck two season in GB before SEAHAWKS

It's hard to decipher humor before my first coffee.

Gotta admit, i'm seriously concerned about these concussions to Aaron. bigtime concern here... They're not very good signs... and on both of them, I just didn't see the violence that caused them. they didn't look like concussion causing hits/tackles. And because of that, I don't think Flynn is heading anywhere, and will be backing up Aaron next season as well.
