08:12 AM ET 12.23 | Larry Brown is out and Paul Silas is in, which may mean a roster shakeup for Michael Jordan in Charlotte. [If] bringing back Silas isn't retro enough for everyone, how about Silas' old Hornets point guard, Baron Davis? Jordan is considering a trade proposal that would send [D.J.] Augustin, DeSagana Diop and Matt Carroll to the Los Angeles Clippers for Davis, a league source told Yahoo! Sports. The Clippers have desperately tried to trade Davis and have included him in proposals with center Chris Kaman, league executives told Yahoo! Sports.

Wow. Baron Davis is going to ball in the Queen City? What's the reason that the Clippers are trying to unload him. MJ please make sure Kaman comes with Davis. The Bobcats have a doughnut in the post.

I think they just want to get that old out of there and start building with Gordon and Griffin...So lets say maybe Capt. Jax for Davis? I think Id do it if I was both clubs....

If the Clippers are willing to trade Kaman, why isn't Donnie Walsh on the phone??

Well maybe he is on the phone? Also maybe the Clips are wanting to much for the oft injured Kaman....

I dont understand this...but Kaman isnt a bad pick up

If MJ is taking on Baron's weight on contract he has to demand Blake Griffin to make the trade fair else it's a robbery.

The Bobcats need a PG and Silas and Davis like each other and worked well together their first time in Charlotte....The Clips just want him gone since he is disgruntled and doesnt want to be there....

Dude how many times do I have to tell you we won't take on any contracts that go into next season because it will knock us out of the free agent bonanza. Players like Melo, CP3, Dwight Howard and Jason Richardson will be available and you want Knicks to sacrifice all that for Kris Kaman? I don't think. We'll get by with Turiaf for now.. they guy rejects shots like Lebron checks and it looks like his offense is coming around. I can live with that for this and next season so we can continue to go after big names.

Well technically Howard or PAUL will NOT be available until AFTER next season not after this season....

As much as I want the Bobcats to dump Diop and his contract this is even worse of a move. It would take DJ Augustin (~2.5 mill), Gana Diop (~6 mill) and Matt Carroll (~4.3 mill) to match Baron Davis' contract. So you're trading 1 bad contract with 2 backups for one god awful contract in Baron Davis ($13 mill). Kaman's is a few mill less than Baron Davis' but his at least expires after next year.

Kaman is a true center and with the exception of the '08 and '09 season he's played upwards of 75 games a year. I wouldn't call that 'oft injured.' Besides, the Bricks need a center--can you think of a better option?

I kind of agree. I don't understand this move. Davis has already proved that he doesn't care and won't give his best any more.

The move makes sense. You take Davis to get Kaman. 6'3 guards are a dime a dozen. 7 foot centers are a different lot. Kaman is only 28. He rebounds and plays defense. If the Bobcats are going to rebuild, where else do you start.

First before any trade Silas need to figure out if the losing was Brown or the Players....

Get the players out of Brown's Dog House ..... start Fresh ...

Brown starting pF Diaw 35.9 mpg 5.3 reb, the back up pF Tyrus Thomas, 20.4 mpg, 5.5 reb ...
maybe Silas starts Tyrus over Overpaid Diaw ...

Read it again Hollywood .... the Trade is only Davis $13m, for D.J. $2.5m, Diop $6.5m, and Carroll $4.3m ...

to get Karman $11.3m, the Bobkitty would need to send Wallace $9.5m or Capt Jack $8.4m
